INDUSTRIAL APPROVALS
FOR NOISE AND VIBRATION

The Federal Environmental Assessment process requires the consideration of noise and vibration issues.

Ontario’s Environmental Protection Act, lists noise and vibration as designated substances and specifies that all industries obtain a Certificate of Approval from the Ministry of the Environment with regard to noise and vibration emissions.

The Ministry of Natural Resources requires the consideration of noise and vibration under policies related to new licenses.
