HGC Engineering performed a full-range of acoustical services for this state of the art automotive test facility including

• a site survey of environmental noise and vibration levels from neighbouring road, rail and air traffic sources
• designed the building envelope for sufficient noise insulation
• designed vibration isolation system for the chassis dynamometer
• designed the shape and specified the performance of a large hemi-anechoic chamber for pass by noise testing
• designed and specified a reverberation suite for transmission loss testing
• silenced the HVAC systems for these critical spaces.

The design/build team of Ghafari Associates, Rudolph Libbe Construction Managers, and HGC Engineering completed the project on time and under budget.
