- The Carlu, Toronto
2003
The reconstruction and redesign of this period 1930’s building
considered both newly added amplified sound and sound isolation
for neighbours beside and below while preserving the acoustics
of the Glen Gould Theatre.
- Theatre and Company, Kitchener
King Street Theatre Centre
2001
As a member of the design team, HGC Engineering designed the acoustics
and HVAC noise control for this 400-seat flexible performance
space in this downtown reconstruction.
- Kingswood Music Theatre, Paramount
Canada’s Wonderland,
HGC Engineering was involved when the Kingswood Music Theatre,
Paramount Canada’s Wonderland, was redesigned to improve
the acoustics in the theatre and the reduce the sound transmitted
to the neighboring residential community
- Drayton Entertainment
HGC Engineering designed the acoustics of a new 350 seat venue
for music theatre and dramatic productions.
- Creative Arts Centre, University of
West Indies,
Barbados, WI
Acoustics and noise control for a new facility for the performing
arts including a performance theatre, rehearsal spaces, classrooms
and lobbies.
